How do we change kilograms into tonnes?
To change tonnes to kg we multiply 1000
Change 5000kg into tonnes.
Working
5000kg÷1000
=5 tonnes
Change 3/4tonnes into kg
3/4× 1000
3×1000
3000÷4
=750kg
